Since Privacy Policy
This is the privacy policy for “Since — When Did You Last?” (Japanese name: 最後はいつ?; the “App”). The App is provided by Touzanbou (Kenta Yamamoto) for iPhone and Android. By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to the handling of information described in this policy.
Information Collection and Use
Data such as records, photos, and notes created in the App is stored only on your device and, as described below, in your own iCloud. Touzanbou does not collect, view, or transmit this content externally. No account registration is required.
The App does not display advertisements, nor does it send any information that could identify you to third parties for purposes such as access analytics.
iCloud (iPhone)
If you are signed in to iCloud, the App's records and photos are synced to your own account on iCloud (CloudKit) provided by Apple, in preparation for device changes and backups. This data is tied to your Apple ID and cannot be accessed by Touzanbou. The handling of information stored in iCloud is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. If you do not wish to sync to iCloud, you can turn it off in your device settings.
Device Backup (Android)
Depending on your device settings, the Android version's records may be included in the device backup provided by Google. This backup is tied to your Google account and cannot be accessed by Touzanbou. Backups you export to a file from Settings are saved to the location you choose.
Photos
When attaching a photo to a record, the App may request access to your photo library or camera. The photos you select or take are saved as part of the record on your device (and, on iPhone, in your iCloud), and are never transmitted externally.
Crash Information
On iPhone, if an error occurs, diagnostic information such as your device type, OS version, and the circumstances at the time of the error may be sent to Apple through Apple's mechanisms. This only happens if you have allowed it in your device settings, and Touzanbou does not receive any personally identifiable information.
On Android, the App uses Google's Firebase Crashlytics to fix problems. When the App crashes, it sends the circumstances (such as the stack trace, device model, and OS and app versions) along with an app instance identifier. The contents of your records, photos, and notes are never included, and this is not used for advertising or tracking. You can turn this off at any time in the App's settings. For details on how Google handles this data, see the Firebase privacy information (https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy).
Security
The App lets you enable a launch lock using Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint, or passcode in its settings. While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Children's Privacy
Touzanbou does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. The App does not collect your information externally in the first place, but if you have any concerns, please contact us.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. If changes are made, we will notify you by posting them on this page. We recommend that you review this page periodically.
